Sustainable by design

When Suvi Haimi and Laura Tirkkonen-Rajasalo looked around their bathrooms, they both saw the same thing: a plastic problem. Aware of the ever-growing amounts of plastic waste that fills our lives and seas, they set out to find a solution. As biochemists specializing in biomaterials, Suvi and Laura came up with a sustainable and beautiful alternative to plastic.

Sulapac® is a microplastic-free material, that is safe for people and the planet. It
is suitable for a variety of applications from cosmetics packaging to personal care items and more. Sulapac can be used with existing plastic product manufacturing machinery, making sustainability an easy choice.
